today is the official release day so i dont see why this wouldnt be the rtm

microsoft has still not uploaded sp3 on windows update or download center since the
release is planned to be released at abt. 10-11 am today(us time) and currently the time
is abt. 7 am.so guys just wait 3 more hours for the original release...

there is no sp3 on microsoft's web site, so i will wait.
i just loaded sp3 from the link above into wxp pro corp. worked flawless. the build
number is from msinfo32.

do not slipstream this servicepack with nlite on vista, it
doesn't accept any keys.
i had to use a virtual machine running xp to do it.
have no doubt. this is real. download and installed. i just did it..
if all these links r real then why could be microsoft not uploading them till now??

hold off on releasing windows xp service pack 3 through windows update and microsoft
download center due to a glitch that affects one of its dynamics products.

microsoft didn't officialy release it because sp3 has a major bug which can cause "lost
of all data" on your hardisk.
also vista sp1 has the same bug.

thats the whole problem some of us cant afford to play with linux im sure its fine for
hard core tasks that the average joe does not want to do, and on the flip side business
men need to run their applications that wont play nice with linux we make money using our
computers we need good apps and those can only be found on windows. just to install
something on linux can become a head ache. i would rather work and make money rather than
figure out what pakages to install and what commands i need to exe in root.
